A Place for Children and Families…

Families are a vital part of life at Wyoming Baptist. With ministries like VBS, Children’s Church, Youth Club and special events, kids are given a fun and safe place to grow in faith. We’ve recently welcomed a Children’s Ministry Coordinator, showing our deep commitment to helping children and families flourish.

A Place for Growth…

At Wyoming Baptist, we believe growth happens when God’s Word shapes our lives and the Holy Spirit empowers us to live it out. Through connected teaching series for adults and children, Bible studies, and opportunities to serve, we seek to know Jesus more and follow Him together. Our preaching and teaching hold Scripture in the highest regard as we discover Christ in our midst.

A Place to Belong…

In a world where people are always on the move, Wyoming Baptist is a place to belong. Many say what stands out about us is our genuine welcome and lack of judgment. Here, people look out for one another, showing hospitality, friendship, and spiritual care in ways that make this more than a church — it’s a family.

Who we are

At Wyoming Baptist Church, we are Christian by dedication and Baptist by conviction. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, and our life together is shaped by Scripture, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We are part of the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ), and locally connected with the Middlesex Lambton Huron Association (MLHA). These partnerships remind us that we are part of something larger than ourselves — a wider family of believers across our region and beyond.

As Baptists, we hold to a few distinctives that shape our life together:

  • The authority of Jesus as attested to in Scripture — the Bible points us to Christ and is our guide for faith and practice.

  • Believers’ baptism — baptism is an expression of personal faith in Christ, a public witness of new life.

  • The priesthood of all believers — every Christian is called to serve and minister, not just a select few.

  • Soul freedom — each person has the God-given responsibility to respond to Christ personally and to live out their faith with integrity of conscience.

  • Local church autonomy — each congregation seeks God’s direction under Christ’s leadership, while still cooperating with others in mission.

Together, these convictions help us live out our calling as a community of faith — following Jesus, serving our neighbours, and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
